Back in spring the Ergi Design Contest got a huge amount of contributions.
The winning dress was designed by Trirose in Malaysia, and now a decade later it seems, the winning design is finally in store on http://ergi.se

Due to serious lack of time, there will be some changes made to the Ergi commissioning service.
Good customer service is no 1, and with too many orders and too little time, this cannot be guaranteed.

From March 01, only customising of Ergi items will be accepted.
You can order an item in our store or an item that we have carried before in another colour, another fabric or size.

No custom orders/replicas/items made after your own design will be accepted.


The service may open again in the future, if so, this will be announced on our website and here on LJ.

Hopefully this will lead to more new items, less time from purchase to shipping and better service in general. ^_^

Your Design Task
Your task is to design a dress or jumper skirt, suitable for spring and summer.
Skirt length should be around knee length, short sleeves or sleeveless.
Style is entirely up to you!

Your design must be in colour! I.e. it's perfectly OK with a black or white dress, but do not forget to indicate that this is indeed intended, or we might think you were just too lazy to colour it!

Also, we prefer designs on a girl, rather than just a dress. Though, if you design amazing dresses but just can't draw people, do not hesitate to send your "bodyless" design! ^_~

Submitted files must be of good quality, but do not need to be any larger than 800px in width or length.

*edit* You may submit more than one design, but please send them in different e-mails. One e-mail per design.

*edit* You may use different accesories already shown on our website to accent the dress, or show how it would fit in with the brand.

*edit* You can design a print if it's not too intricate (max one colour) or, use a print like polka dots, stripes or flowers. (A print that is relatively common and easy to find.) You can also use applications.

About the Winning Dress
The winning design will be part of the Ergi Spring/Summer Collection!

The final dress will be an interpretation of your design. Shape, type of details and colour will be as close as possible, but there might be a need to make a few changes. Also, some things that work on paper might not work so well in real life.

How to order: Place an order for at least two pairs of socks. (Of course you can order other items as well to save on shipping) Every even pair of socks will get you a pair of sock toppers, i.e. if you order three pairs you will get one set, if you order four you will get two and so on.


Do not order sock toppers to get them for free! You will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly after your order is placed where you can pick the colours of your choice etc. The colours available are the same as the garters for sale in the store.

Not at all the light pink I ordered.

The black and white t-shirts look great though, and will be shipped out before the fashion show!



But these hot pink things simply doesn't match the rest of my clothes, so I sell them for like... nothing!

I wasn't sure whether to upload anything new into the old store or not, as it is being remade. But the new more steampunky store has been so delayed that I decided to upload them, since i get a lot of e-mails from people asking for them ^_^

So, they are listed under "Accessories" and are up for grabs!

Though, as some of you may have noticed, there are a few inconveniences around shopping in the old store:
1. You will be invoiced for shipping by e-mail after checking out.
2. Residents in the EU will also be invoiced for sales tax/VAT, since the store only calculates prices without.

These are issues that will be fixed in the new store

So, if you are going to buy socks only, the easiest way is still probably to e-mail an order to: info[at]ergi[dot]se


Anyhow, having them in the store is at least a good way to let you guys know that I still have some in stock! ^_^
